Ruby Labs is a technology company that creates and operates innovative consumer products across the health, education, and entertainment industries.

• Develop complex features and modules using Next.js for the frontend and NodeJS for the backend;
• Implement and optimize Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, task estimation, and delivery oversight;
• Enforce best practices in coding, testing, caching, and performance monitoring;
• Design and implement comprehensive security measures at the application, infrastructure, and data levels.

• Minimum 2 years of active, commercial experience with Next.js (v14.x/v15.x);
• Deep knowledge and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with a modern framework such as NestJS, Fastify, or Hono;
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or Supabase, including query optimization and schema design;
• In-depth, practical knowledge of Prisma or Drizzle ORM;
• Profound understanding of caching strategies and ability to apply them effectively;
• Full proficiency with Docker and docker-compose;
• Proven experience in building secure systems, including protecting against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities;
• Experience working with analytics tools and platforms for A/B testing;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Product mindset and proactive, results-oriented approach;
• Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, experience with monorepo tools, experience writing unit and integration tests, understanding and practical application of background workers and message queues.
