Full Stack Developer

Carelane is an AI-driven clinical trial platform that operates across 50 countries to transform global clinical research workflows.

• Build and refine the full-stack platform to create a smooth user experience for clinical researchers and site staff;
• Make opinionated UX/UI decisions;
• Develop high-quality, maintainable frontend code using React, TypeScript, and Next.js;
• Embed AI capabilities directly into the SaaS platform to augment clinical workflows;
• Ensure scalability and performance while maintaining an intuitive UI;
• Work with a small team to ship customer-focused improvements at startup pace.

• 5+ Years of experience in software development with strong full-stack capability and a clear frontend focus;
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Next.js;
• Strong sense of UX and UI to design and build independently;
• Ability to make pragmatic, business-driven decisions;
• Experience embedding AI into SaaS applications such as LLM integration or intelligent workflows;
• Fluent with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot;
• Experience with Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, and cloud-based web apps;
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in an early-stage startup;
• Nice to have: Familiarity with the FHIR standard, experience in clinical research, life sciences, or health tech, experience with SDLC / GxP / validated software development environments, experience with Playwright testing, knowledge of modern React component libraries.
