• Set technical direction for frontend across multiple teams and build alignment among stakeholders;
• Influence roadmaps, investment decisions, and engineering priorities;
• Define and drive the culture of engineering excellence and evolve frontend architecture;
• Act as a trusted technical leader across teams and locations;
• Represent frontend engineering in cross-functional and leadership discussions;
• Design and create shared frontend libraries, components, and tooling;
• Orchestrate multi-system refactors and migrations;
• Mentor and coach other engineers through structured mentorship, pairing, and feedback;
• Model healthy feedback culture and navigate tough conversations;
• Challenge and improve team and cross-team processes;
• Innovate, design, implement, and deploy frontend-focused engineering solutions;
• Build alignment across teams with different goals and constraints;
• Own the end-to-end technical vision for key user journeys;
• Lead cross-team frontend initiatives;
• Identify and surface cross-cutting technical bottlenecks;
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to shape technical strategy;
• Partner with DevX to co-develop engineering blueprints and health scorecards;
• Evaluate, prototype, and introduce new frontend technologies;
• Own and evolve the frontend ADR process;
• Guide and review the work of other engineers;
• Help the team embrace and leverage AI and large language models;
• Facilitate the frontend guild and knowledge-sharing formats;
• Promote a culture of high-quality engineering including testing, monitoring, and security.

• 8+ Years of professional experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks;
• Proven track record of implementing and maintaining automated frontend testing;
• Experience collaborating with designers using Figma;
• Strong experience building and evolving large-scale frontend applications in modern JavaScript/TypeScript;
• Proven track record of senior technical leadership in a Staff, Lead, or equivalent role;
• Deep understanding of modern CI/CD for frontend;
• Demonstrated experience creating and driving adoption of shared frontend solutions;
• Demonstrated experience influencing multiple teams or an entire product area;
• Experience mentoring senior engineers or tech leads;
• Strong stakeholder management skills;
• Evidence of defining technical strategy and turning it into execution;
• Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written;
• Nice to have: Solid hands-on experience with Vue 3, strong understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO, prior experience with APIs and microservices, experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, experience with server-side/hybrid rendering and edge/CDN optimization, experience integrating frontends with AWS Lambda.
