• Set technical direction for Telescope, including architecture, component standards, release practices, and quality bars;
• Drive and evolve the contribution model and team interaction patterns;
• Own and improve request flows, including triage, prioritization, and expectations;
• Improve developer and contributor experience through tooling and automation;
• Manage design system visual testing and workflows;
• Improve metrics and communication regarding adoption and system health;
• Evolve documentation publishing workflows;
• Lead team rituals to ensure effectiveness and alignment;
• Represent Design Systems in cross-team initiatives and align stakeholders across Design and Engineering;
• Coach and mentor engineers to grow technical leadership within the frontend community;
• Contribute hands-on in code as part of the strategy and execution blend.

• Experience building and maintaining component libraries or platform-like products serving multiple teams;
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend engineering;
• Experience designing maintainable systems with clear boundaries, versioning, and backwards compatibility;
• Strong knowledge of testing practices and tooling, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing;
• Expertise in accessibility and performance best practices for UI systems;
• Ability to collaborate with designers and product engineers while navigating stakeholder tradeoffs;
• Fluent English for professional communication;
• Nice to have: React experience.
