Data Engineer

• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines from source systems to analytics-ready datasets;
• Develop and maintain data transformations using dbt Core, following best practices;
• Implement and manage data ingestion workflows using dbt and python data pipelines;
• Contribute to data modeling activities;
• Ensure data quality and reliability by implementing tests and monitoring data pipelines;
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issues;
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers, BI teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving data engineering standards.

• 3–4 Years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role;
• Hands-on experience with dbt Core, including CLI-based development and version control;
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines;
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with analytical databases or data warehouses;
• Intermediate knowledge of data modeling concepts;
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows;
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts applied to data pipelines;
• Experience with Python for data processing and/or orchestration tasks;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken);
• Nice to have: exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), hands-on experience with Dataiku, hands-on experience with Power BI, experience building or supporting machine learning models in Dataiku, exposure to Generative AI or LLM-based use cases.
