Data engineer

• Design and implement robust end-to-end data architectures, including ingestion, integration, processing, and storage mechanisms on Azure;
• Develop and optimize data integration solutions using ETL/ELT, streaming, CDC, APIs, and event-driven patterns, ensuring performance and resilience;
• Define and evolve data models (relational, dimensional, graph, etc.) and platforms (Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses) to meet diverse analytical requirements;
• Ensure comprehensive Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Security, and GDPR compliance across all data solutions and pipelines;
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in architecture design, validating solutions and mentoring data engineers and implementation teams;
• Analyze, clarify, and challenge business requirements to translate them into effective architectural decisions and documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Over 10 years of professional experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Data Architect, with a strong background in designing complex data solutions;
• Extensive proficiency with Azure Cloud services, including Databricks, Unity Catalog, Purview, and Fabric for data integration, Machine Learning, and AI initiatives;
• Proven ability to define data models, design integration architectures (ETL/ELT, streaming), and implement robust data platforms;
• Solid understanding and application of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Security principles (including GDPR compliance);
• Fluency in Portuguese and strong proficiency in English, essential for collaborating on global projects (Europe, Brazil, USA);
