Business analyst for data products

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and prioritisation of structured business requirements.
• Translate strategic objectives and complex operational needs into clear, actionable functional, process, and data requirements.
• Analyse and manipulate data, using SQL to extract insights and assess revenue, cost, performance, and operational drivers.
• Create and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, data-flow diagrams, and functional logic for systems and data products.
• Partner closely with Data Science, IT teams, and business stakeholders to align solutions, goals, and measurable outcomes.
• Support backlog refinement and prioritisation, ensuring user stories are clearly defined and ready for delivery within an Agile framework.

• At least 5 years of strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally in data-related projects and supporting data products.
• Proven expertise in requirements elicitation and management, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and workshop facilitation.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data manipulation and generating database-driven insights and analysis.
• Strong process and data modelling skills, including BPMN, current-state, and future-state mapping.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, using tools like Jira, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in English.
