Playson is a software development company that provides gaming solutions and content for the iGaming industry.

• Design, build, and deliver new backend features end-to-end in a distributed environment;
• Write high-quality, production-level code daily for a high-load, scalable system;
• Take ownership of services handling financial transactions at scale;
• Suggest and implement improvements in architecture, processes, and development practices;
• Participate in code and architectural reviews;
• Solve complex business and technical challenges;
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and availability;
• Contribute to ongoing tech transformation initiatives;
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions.

• Solid experience with Node.js/TypeScript, or expertise in Java, Python, C++, C#, or Go;
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming techniques;
• Experience with distributed systems and messaging systems like Apache Kafka and gRPC;
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), columnar databases (ClickHouse), and NoSQL technologies (DynamoDB, MongoDB);
• Skilled in developing and maintaining end-to-end and unit tests;
• Proven track record of developing production-ready solutions;
• Degree in Computer Science or related field;
• Nice to have: Experience with large-scale microservices architecture, knowledge of Kubernetes, familiarity with cloud providers (especially AWS), understanding of application security and enterprise development patterns, active performance observation, gambling domain experience.
