DualEntry is an AI-native ERP startup founded in 2024 that automates manual accounting and finance workflows. The company focuses on replacing legacy ERP systems with modern, performant, and secure solutions for businesses ranging from $5M-ARR companies to NYSE-listed corporations.

• Design and build core backend systems;
• Build APIs, services, and infrastructure for real-time, business-critical accounting logic;
• Launch production-ready features from scratch, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment;
• Collaborate with product teams to transform complex finance workflows into performant, secure systems;
• Manage complexity in business-logic-heavy products, including data migrations and scaling;
• Integrate third-party tools and external systems while managing edge cases and risks;
• Own work from architecture to testing, monitoring, and post-release care.

• 5+ Years of experience in backend engineering;
• Deep experience with complex business logic products;
• Experience deploying on AWS or similar cloud infrastructure;
• Strong database skills including PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, migrations, and schema design;
• Experience building and testing robust APIs;
• Solid understanding of software lifecycle, CI/CD, and production-readiness;
• Ability to manage complex systems with evolving requirements;
• Fluent in English (C1+) with strong written and verbal communication;
• Nice to have: Python, FastAPI, Flask, Django.

• Base salary $140,000 - $250,000 per year;
• Significant equity ownership;
