backend developer for a B2B marketplace

JoomPro is an end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace serving small, medium, and large businesses. It handles orders of any size from start to finish and currently operates in Brazil and Mexico, with plans to expand into other markets.

• Design system architecture;
• Program in Go, with solid algorithmic, fundamental technical, and general coding skills being more important than Go specifically;
• Provide fault tolerance for services in an AWS environment;
• Prepare for continuous growth in processed and stored data loads and volumes;
• Participate in discussions about new feature and product development;
• Manage and mentor a backend team of 3–6 developers.

• Experience leading and developing a backend team through recruiting, hiring, and training new team members;
• Confident knowledge of one of Go, Java, Kotlin, C++, Python, or Scala;
• Experience developing complex projects;
• Excellent algorithmic training;
• Experience developing for Linux / Unix;
• Nice to have: Experience with highload, MongoDB, Kubernetes.
