Backend Developer

DoiT is a global technology company that assists cloud-driven organizations in leveraging cloud infrastructure to drive business growth and innovation. • Own internal tools end to end from operational problem understanding through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration;
• Build across the stack including Python/Go services on Cloud Run, TypeScript web apps, internal admin tools, event-driven integrations on Pub/Sub, and GCP cloud infrastructure;
• Integrate with third-party SaaS platforms and cloud APIs handling REST, webhooks, OAuth, and event-driven patterns;
• Build and maintain workflow automation and business process orchestration as observable flows;
• Use AI tooling effectively across the development lifecycle, directing AI as a coding collaborator while owning the output;
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and type safety;
• Operate production systems including monitoring, reliability, cost management, and failure handling;
• Contribute to shared engineering standards, playbooks, and internal tooling.

• 3–9 Years of professional software engineering experience;
• Proven track record of end-to-end product delivery and operating production software;
• Proficiency in Python or Go for backend development;
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend and internal tool development;
• Experience deploying and operating on GCP including IAM, secrets management, and Cloud Run;
• Experience connecting third-party platforms in production using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns;
• Solid understanding of application security hygiene and secrets management;
• Experience using AI tooling across the full SDLC with critical review of AI-generated output;
• Nice to have: Workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier), business process orchestration (Camunda, Temporal), systems-level programming, graph algorithms or databases, Rust/Tauri, Terraform, LLM API integration, AI safety and compliance.
