Backend Developer

The company offers a portfolio of legal tech solutions including artificial intelligence, eDiscovery, information analysis, regulatory updates, databases, deal rooms, workflow management, case management, document automation, risk assessment, reporting, and applications.

• Develop and maintain backend systems using JavaScript (TypeScript) and Python;
• Design and implement APIs and services to support front-end functionalities;
• Write clean, efficient, and modular code adhering to best practices and coding standards;
• Optimize performance and ensure scalability;
• Collaborate in database design and management;
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues;
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field of development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript (JavaScript) and Python;
• Experience with Node.js and its ecosystem;
• Familiarity with GraphQL and its implementation (Apollo, Relay, etc.);
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Proficient in English;
• Nice to have: DevOps experience, Azure, Grafana, managing and optimizing database systems (PostgreSQL or MongoDB), Sentry or other monitoring/error-tracking software, Next.js.
