• Lead the design and development of advanced analog and mixed-signal circuits, blocks, and subsystems from specification through production
• Develop architectural proposals and analyze tradeoffs in performance, power, area, and cost based on project requirements
• Simulate, verify, and optimize circuits using SPICE, Spectre, and other industry-standard tools
• Manage tape-out activities, silicon bring-up, debugging, and laboratory characterization
• Collaborate with layout engineering to preserve design intent through physical implementation and support manufacturability
• Establish and execute validation plans aligned with product requirements and quality standards
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and leadership across project teams
• Deliver analog and mixed-signal designs that meet performance specifications and project schedules
• Establish technical standards through specification development, design reviews, and debugging processes
• Facilitate transitions between design, layout, validation, and production
• Resolve silicon issues to ensure products meet customer requirements
• Strengthen engineering capabilities through knowledge transfer, mentorship, and technical leadership
• Identify potential design issues during early reviews and raise technical questions
• Communicate technical tradeoffs to executive leadership and provide guidance to junior engineers
• Use laboratory equipment and simulation tools to conduct analyses when needed
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to maintain project momentum
• Contribute to process and methodology improvements based on practical experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 8 years of professional experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design
• Expertise in transistor-level circuit design and analysis
• Proficiency with SPICE and Spectre circuit simulation tools
• Practical experience with silicon debugging, characterization, and laboratory measurements
• Knowledge of design methodologies for robustness, reliability, and testability
• Ability to identify design issues early and communicate technical tradeoffs effectively to executive leadership
• Ability to work directly with laboratory equipment and simulation tools and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
• Master's degree or PhD
