• Build and maintain data pipelines that process billions of events daily across batch and streaming systems
• Develop AI-powered solutions, including intelligent agents using Databricks Agent Bricks, to improve productivity
• Set up infrastructure as code for data and AI platforms, keeping them scalable and reproducible
• Create monitoring and alerting systems to protect data quality, model performance and pipeline reliability
• Optimise data processing jobs to improve performance and reduce costs
• Partner with product and domain teams to deliver new data features and agent-driven tools
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and AI applications
• Troubleshoot production issues and apply permanent fixes to prevent recurrence
• Contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices across the team
• Maintain reliable, scalable and future-ready data and AI infrastructure
• Collaborate with platform and operations teams to maintain robust, high-performance analytical pipelines

• Strong experience building production-grade data pipelines at scale with real business impact
• Confidence with Python and SQL, and hands-on use of data processing frameworks in live environments
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP and containerisation technologies
• Knowledge of streaming technologies and event-driven architectures
• Practical experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve root causes
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or similar data platforms
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
