AI engineer

We're hiring on behalf of an organisation seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deliver production-grade Generative and Agentic AI products.

• Work within a product squad to design, develop, and deliver GenAI and Agentic AI solutions
• Architect and implement robust RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, and vector search
• Build reliable agentic workflows featuring state management, routing, tool use, and human-in-the-loop patterns
• Implement comprehensive guardrails, hallucination mitigation, evaluation frameworks, and AI observability
• Deploy and maintain scalable AI solutions and supporting backend services across cloud infrastructure

• Strong Python software engineering foundation with practical experience building production AI applications
• Hands-on experience developing GenAI, LLM applications, and agentic workflows (including tools like LangGraph)
• Experience deploying cloud AI solutions, particularly with Azure AI services and vector databases
• Mandatory UK BPSS and SC clearance, requiring a valid UK Passport

• Day rate of £600 - £644 per day
• Remote-first working arrangement with on-site visits required once a month
