ux designer for consumer financial services

• Optimize user interaction and the overall experience across consumer touchpoints and channels;
• Conduct research and analyze insights to create end-to-end flows, wireframes, and prototypes;
• Validate design effectiveness against intended objectives;
• Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve the user experience;
• Leverage and contribute to the design system with high-fidelity designs and UI components;
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, and management partners to align with business initiatives;
• Advocate for customers, promote a strong design culture, and foster a human-centric mindset;
• Support a cross-disciplinary consumer team in helping users understand and navigate services across consumer channels and touchpoints.

• Proficient in conducting user research, identifying user needs, and translating them into intuitive and impactful design solutions;
• Experienced in leading end-to-end product design processes from concept ideation to final implementation;
• Skilled in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma;
• Able to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices;
• Proficient in conducting usability testing, gathering feedback, and iterating on designs;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including translating complex user requirements into design approaches and estimations;
• Nice to have: Experience mentoring junior designers, partnering with multiple designers and stakeholders across complex product ecosystems, experience with financial services or fintech products, familiarity with product frameworks and development technologies, experience with B2B, B2C, and/or B2B2C products, familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines such as WCAG.
