• Create design system components in Figma, demonstrating a strong understanding of interaction design and UI best practices;
• Create high-quality, responsive UI designs that balance usability and accessibility with delightful user experiences;
• Produce component documentation and manage design tokens;
• Approach situations through a design systems lens, considering the reusability of design elements and contribute to documentation;
• Contribute to the design system strategy across platforms and support decision-making at the team level;
• Collaborate cross-functionally and play a key role in nurturing team collaboration;
• Make informed decisions during the design process balancing user needs, business considerations, accessibility compliance, and user research;
• Effectively communicate ideas and rationale to team members and stakeholders.

• Minimum 4 years of experience within a UX/UI role;
• Good working understanding of front-end practices and atomic design principles;
• Excellent knowledge of Figma, including auto layout, components, variables, and managing libraries;
• Naturally creative and inquisitive mindset;
• Confident communicator with the ability to give and receive feedback;
• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities;
• Strong collaborative and iterative mindset;
• Good understanding or experience of designing with WCAG or A11y guidelines in mind;
• Nice to have: knowledge of Widgetbook, desire to mentor and guide junior members of the team, understanding of user psychology.
