Tide provides business accounts, banking services, and a comprehensive suite of administrative solutions, including invoicing and accounting, to help small and medium-sized enterprises save time and money. The company operates a global financial platform supporting over 2 million members across the UK, India, Germany, and France.

• Own the design vision for a core business area within the Tide platform;
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and User Researchers to turn complex business problems into design solutions;
• Drive the end-to-end design process, from discovery and journey mapping to high-fidelity execution;
• Lead research sessions and analyze usage data to frame problem-solving strategies;
• Champion a user-centric culture and advocate for member needs within Product and Engineering teams;
• Evolve the Tide Design System and contribute to shared principles and component libraries.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Product Design, ideally within a SaaS, Fintech, or high-growth scale-up environment;
• Proven track record of leading design workstreams and mentoring or managing junior designers;
• Experience designing for complex user flows, business tools, or financial/insurance services;
• In-depth knowledge of User Experience and Product Design methodologies, including facilitating workshops and design sprints;
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma and advanced prototyping tools;
• Ability to work in an agile environment and navigate the ambiguity of a rapidly scaling business;
• Data-driven approach to design using tools like Looker, Heap, GA, or Hotjar;
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience;
• Nice to have: Experience in insurance products.
