• Own the design process from initial research through to final delivery;
• Work across multiple products while ensuring ecosystem coherence;
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to shape product direction;
• Conduct and participate in user research, including interviews, usability testing, and design validation;
• Build prototypes in Figma to communicate design intent;
• Navigate complex technical domains and translate them into clear, usable experiences;
• Contribute to design systems and pattern documentation;
• Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and leadership;
• Help define and improve design practices, such as prioritization and research processes.

• Strong product design craft with experience taking problems from research to polished UX;
• Fluency in Figma with the ability to build complex, interactive prototypes;
• Ability to navigate and design for complex technical domains;
• Systems thinking skills to maintain coherence across multiple products;
• High level of independence and ability to drive projects forward;
• Experience conducting user interviews and synthesizing findings;
• Basic coding literacy to understand developer workflows and technical constraints;
• Clear communication skills to explain reasoning to cross-functional teams;
• Nice to have: Developer background or engineering mindset, experience designing developer tools or complex professional software, opinions on IDE functionality backed by usage.
