Technical business analyst in regulatory reporting

• Work with reporting specialists to confirm regulatory rules and expected results.
• Document application defects or reporting changes, follow them through with developers or vendors, and validate the results with reporting users.

• 5+ years in regulatory reporting application support, technical business analysis or a comparable data-focused role in banking. Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Understand how banking data becomes a regulatory report, including data transformations, quality checks, reconciliations and deadlines.
• Practical SQL skills on Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server: queries, joins, data comparisons and investigation of incorrect or missing records. Experience with one database is sufficient to start.
• Experience with OneSumX / FRS, FiRE or comparable regulatory reporting software. Ability to investigate data processing, report generation and user-access issues.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ownership and clear communication with technical and business audiences. Fluent English is required.
