data analyst in banking

The company supports a global banking client with a major nCino implementation, a cloud-based banking platform built on Salesforce.

• Analyse and interpret complex datasets to support the nCino implementation;
• Extract, transform and validate data using SQL;
• Analyse existing data structures and identify data quality issues or inconsistencies;
• Support data reporting and provide meaningful insights to project stakeholders;
• Work with business and technical teams to understand data and reporting requirements;
• Support the development and improvement of reporting solutions;
• Translate business requirements into clear data analysis and reporting outputs;
• Quickly understand existing processes, systems and data structures within the project;
• Work independently while collaborating with wider project and delivery teams;
• Contribute to data-related activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Analyst, ideally at mid-to-senior level;
• Strong SQL skills, including data extraction, transformation and analysis;
• Experience with Salesforce;
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar BI/visualisation tools;
• Experience working with complex datasets and data structures;
• Experience producing data analysis and reporting outputs;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and technologies;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders;
• Nice to have: Experience with nCino or other cloud-based banking platforms, experience within financial services or banking environments, experience supporting data transformation or implementation projects, previous consulting experience or experience joining complex projects mid-delivery.

• Contract role for 6–12 months;
• Start date: ASAP;
• Mainly remote, with onsite attendance in Vienna, Austria for 1 day per month or per quarter.
