Data Analyst

Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines.

• Support Product, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders by turning questions into data slices, trend analysis, and clear answers;
• Work across SQL, Databricks data marts, Tableau dashboards, and Python automation;
• Share operational work with the Lead Analyst and own day-to-day requests;
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and regular reports for key Auto/Moto metrics;
• Write SQL queries and build data marts in Databricks;
• Respond to ad-hoc stakeholder requests, including data slices, trend analysis, and anomaly explanations;
• Develop the reporting system by standardizing metrics, automating manual processes, and improving data reliability;
• Automate recurring reports using Python and pandas;
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations to clarify data needs and align on metrics and data structures.

• 2+ Years of experience in data analytics;
• Strong SQL skills;
• Ability to build and maintain Tableau dashboards independently;
• Python and pandas experience for report automation;
• Ability to work independently, break down tasks, ask the right questions, and deliver clear results;
• Ability to gather context from other teams and align on requirements;
• Working English for stakeholder communication;
• Nice to have: experience building reporting systems from scratch, hands-on experience with Databricks.
