Business analyst in electronic trading

Miller Maxwell is partnering with an international electronic trading firm to hire a Technical Business Analyst in London. The firm is growing its financial technology team, and this hire sits right in the middle of it. You will be the link between the engineers who build the platform and the clients who depend on it. • Acting as the main point of contact between engineering teams and external clients
• Gathering, challenging and documenting business and technical requirements
• Working with product, engineering and sales to shape what gets built
• Running multiple projects at once, keeping timelines honest and priorities aligned
• Explaining complex technology clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

• 5+ years as a Technical Business Analyst in financial services
• Electronic trading experience, which is essential. Front office, brokerage, exchange, ISV, software vendor or market data backgrounds all work
• Equities or Fixed Income market knowledge
• Familiarity with Java, Python or C++
• A 2:1 or above in a STEM degree
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
