Business analyst in banking

Komodo Consulting is a technology and strategy firm specializing in Digital Transformation. Operating in Portugal and Poland, we provide IT Consulting & Nearshore services. We support both public and private sector organizations through two main areas: Consulting — with a focus on strategy, investment analysis, and digital process improvement; IT Team Augmentation — helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams. We are seeking a Business Analyst to work on a Banking project.

• Manage functional solutions for financial interfaces supporting key reporting streams, including financial accounting, management accounting, liquidity, and credit risk
• Define operational and accounting schemes, control frameworks, and data flow structures based on project requirements
• Document functional and technical specifications for implementation by IT, financial systems, and engineering teams
• Coordinate tasks and stakeholders across projects to ensure timely delivery
• Support the evolution of the chart of accounts as required by the adopted solution
• Contribute to testing strategies and carry out all accounting and reporting test phases
• Ensure post-implementation support for reporting users

• At least 3 years of experience in banking or financial services
• Knowledge of general accounting and/or banking accounting
• Familiarity with banking products or capital markets products
• Experience with financial information systems
• Experience in project management
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum B2 level of English, with Portuguese language skills required
