Business analyst for financial applications

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong Quality Assurance (QA) background to join an international project. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders across Portugal and France, supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of financial applications and APIs.

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders.
• Create functional specifications, use cases, and process documentation.
• Design and execute test cases, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, report, and track defects until resolution.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure software quality.
• Maintain functional and testing documentation.
• Support application improvements and maintenance activities.

• 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong QA/testing background.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and test case design.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and UML.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of Xray and test documentation.
• Experience with API testing tools, such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Previous experience in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with international teams.
• English B2 and French B1 (mandatory).
