Business Analyst

ALGOTEQUE is an IT consulting firm supporting startups, medium-sized, and large enterprises in the creation and implementation of innovative technologies. The team has a track record in designing, developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions including AI, ML, BI, Web, and automation for industries such as telecommunications, energy, banking, insurance, pharmaceuticals, automotive, manufacturing, and e-commerce. Services are provided in both fixed-price and time-and-materials models to assist clients in achieving business goals and IT strategies.

• Develop and maintain data warehouses;
• Analyze business requirements from stakeholders and identify data sources;
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and administrators to develop data solutions;
• Prepare analytical specifications for the development team, including data models, data flow diagrams, and business transformation rules;
• Model data and business processes considering data quality and lifecycle;
• Participate in testing and verification of delivered solutions;
• Support the team in analyzing and processing data from multiple source systems;
• Work in an Agile environment and collaborate within the project team.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Analyst or in a related role;
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, particularly in Oracle environments;
• Experience in analyzing and processing large volumes of data from multiple sources;
• Ability to design business processes;
• Knowledge of data modeling;
• Experience working with Agile methodologies;
• Ability to independently manage tasks with multiple stakeholders;
• Proactive approach to problem-solving;
• Proficiency in SQL Developer, Enterprise Architect, Jira, and Confluence;
• Experience in the banking sector or knowledge of banking products;
• Higher education degree;
• Communicative English;
• Nice to have: Experience in data areas for risk processes.
