Business Analyst

The Process Automation & Business Intelligence Department supports DSV GBS by identifying, designing, and delivering automation, analytics, and digital solutions across various business areas. The department acts as the Power BI Center of Excellence for GBS, maintaining reporting standards and best practices. DSV is a global leader in transport and logistics that provides services to customers in over 90 countries.

• Analyze end-to-end business processes to identify optimization, standardization, automation, or elimination opportunities;
• Own automation and digital solution recommendations, including benefits, risks, and alternatives;
• Elicit, structure, and validate business requirements in cooperation with Business Process Owners;
• Create development-ready documentation including BRD, user stories, and acceptance criteria;
• Act as a trusted advisor to business units by identifying improvement opportunities and guiding stakeholders toward automation, analytics, or AI solutions;
• Evaluate and apply emerging automation, data, and AI technologies in alignment with architectural and security standards;
• Serve as the primary bridge between business and development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle;
• Support post-implementation value tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role such as Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or Automation Analyst;
• Experience in analyzing and documenting business processes including creating visual process maps like BPMN and As-Is / To-Be;
• Strong communication skills for working with business stakeholders and technical teams;
• Proven ability to gather, structure, and validate business requirements into development-ready documentation;
• Ability to understand business needs and challenge them constructively to propose feasible solutions;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, logistics, business, or a related field;
• Fluent English (advanced level);
• Nice to have: Background in software development or low-code solutions, basic understanding of data concepts like SQL, experience with RPA or workflow automation tools.
