Business Analyst

Sabadell Zurich is a joint venture between Banco Sabadell and Zurich Insurance Group that focuses on generating business value through advanced data analysis, supporting strategic decision-making in pricing and portfolio management.

• Extract, transform, and analyze data to support decision-making;
• Develop reports and dashboards for portfolio monitoring;
• Create, analyze, and calibrate tariffs for non-life insurance lines;
• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to translate models and analyses into actionable business decisions.

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or equivalent;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles;
• Experience in insurance, banking, retail, online sales, or related sectors;
• Proficiency in analytical tools and data processing (SQL, Python, SAS, or similar);
• Knowledge of advanced analytics, modeling, and data exploitation;
• Strong analytical capacity and results orientation with a focus on business impact;
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives;
• Business vision applied to pricing, balancing risk, profitability, and growth;
• Experience in collaborative and cross-functional work with business, actuarial, and technology teams;
• Clear, structured communication skills oriented toward non-technical stakeholders;
• Proactivity and a continuous improvement mindset;
• Nice to have: Intermediate/high level of English, knowledge of machine learning or predictive modeling, experience in big data environments (PySpark, Databricks, etc.), experience in complex corporate environments.
