Business Analyst

Avaloq is a Switzerland-based provider of wealth management technology and services for financial institutions, including private banks, investment managers, and retail banks. The company operates globally, supporting clients across 35 countries with research-led financial ecosystem solutions.

• Evaluate and analyze payment processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into payment solutions;
• Document requirements in internal tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Service Request platform;
• Design and build functionalities to implement business solutions in Avaloq;
• Monitor payment industry regulations and standards;
• Troubleshoot customer issues and internal requests;
• Manage client interaction during the testing phase;
• Handle bug fixing and change requests;
• Provide support and resolve issues;
• Collaborate with developers during implementation and testing of new and existing functionality;
• Work with colleagues from different locations and cultures;
• Participate in Agile practices and ceremonies.

• Strong experience in a similar role;
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle database or similar;
• Experience in process analysis and engineering;
• Experience in defect triage;
• Nice to have: Fluency in German, experience in working with Agile methodologies, ACCP certification.
