Business Analyst

SOLEVO is a leading distributor of chemicals and inputs for industrial and agricultural segments in Africa. The company provides fertilizers, seeds, crop protection products, and industrial chemicals to support economic growth and transformation across the continent.

• Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications;
• Define application features and phases to ensure alignment with business objectives;
• Guide the specification process to ensure solutions are documented and delivered;
• Act as a Scrum Master, leading agile ceremonies and overseeing project timelines;
• Manage project risks and milestones;
• Produce detailed technical documentation, including API guides, system diagrams, and user manuals;
• Train users and the business support team during implementation and roll-out;
• Define test scenarios with QA and stakeholders to ensure application quality.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a BA or scrum manager in the tech industry, with a focus on mobile application development;
• Proficient in Agile practices and experience serving as a Scrum Master;
• Strong analytical skills to understand business processes and identify improvement areas;
• Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation;
• Excellent communication skills in fluent English;
• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems and adapt to fast-paced environments;
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior consultants;
• Attention to detail;
• Proven track record of working effectively in remote team settings;
• Fluent English (written and spoken);
• Nice to have: Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles, experience with software testing frameworks, familiarity with APIs and technologies like GraphQL, Postman, Rest-Assured, experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Firebase), experience in D365 Finance & Operations, French language skills, familiarity with backend technologies (C#, Node.js), frontend frameworks (React Native, Kotlin), database systems (Google Firebase, PostgreSQL, SQL), knowledge of project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Trello), collaboration platforms (Confluence, Slack), certifications in process management (Six Sigma, Lean) or Agile methodologies (Certified Scrum Master).
