• Identify and document emerging business requirements;
• Question business partner and knowledge worker preferences to identify unique value drivers;
• Capture business, functional, and non-functional requirements;
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and reports;
• Prioritize competing business demands and assess risks of various solution options;
• Communicate between business units, technology teams, and support teams to align needs with IT capabilities;
• Manage requirements to meet performance expectations;
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders;
• Present ideas in a concise, focused manner;
• Surface potential impacts of solutions on stakeholders;
• Articulate the role of technology in terms understood by business constituencies;
• Mentor and coach junior team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Communications, or a related field;
• 5 Years of experience in business analysis, product management, or data analysis;
• Demonstrated knowledge of Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies;
• Ability to engage developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes;
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
• Ability to manage meetings and redirect conversations with stakeholders at different levels;
• Ability to initiate and influence business stakeholders regarding project needs;
• Strong analytical ability to work with data and identify patterns;
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Nice to have: Experience as a primary Business Analyst on medium to large complexity projects, demonstrated ability to define requirements and measure project benefits, experience converting requirements into use cases, epics, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
