• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and objectives;
• Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and testable functional specifications;
• Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations;
• Analyze and model business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation;
• Support project planning, including scope definition, timeline estimation, and risk assessment;
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather and validate requirements;
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful solution delivery;
• Maintain documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user guides;
• Monitor and report on project progress, issues, and risks;
• Conduct functional smoke tests and analyses to ensure applications meet specified standards;
• Draft, revise, and approve functional and smoke test plans;
• Maintain a Release Calendar for application changes;
• Identify risks and security aspects regarding changes and propose mitigation solutions;
• Provide suggestions to improve application lifecycle management and change management processes.

• Strong understanding of retail banking products, core banking systems, and end-to-end banking operations;
• Hands-on experience implementing modern core banking platforms and SaaS-based solutions;
• Experience configuring core banking products, accounting rules, GL mappings, and financial processes;
• Ability to define and configure banking products and business rules;
• Experience defining integrations between core banking and enterprise systems;
• Knowledge of data mapping, migration, and validation;
• Expertise in functional analysis, process modelling, gap analysis, and user stories;
• Working knowledge of SEPA payments, reconciliation, and sponsor banking models;
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management;
• Proficiency in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence;
• Experience supporting end-to-end implementation activities and project governance;
• Nice to have: 5–10+ years of experience in retail or digital banking transformation, proven experience delivering at least one end-to-end core banking implementation (Mambu, Thought Machine, or Pismo), experience with SaaS, API-first and cloud-native platforms, experience with composable banking architectures and microservices, experience working with implementation partners and third-party vendors.
