Solutions Engineer (Germany)

Qargo is a cloud-based (SAAS) Transport Management Platform, we are a scale-up based in London and Ghent (Belgium) and rapidly expanding across Europe. The platform is an ‘all-in-one system’ doing everything from initial order entries to final invoicing, optimising planning and has a built in AI feature automating lengthy manual tasks. It is designed to help modern logistics operations run more efficiently, whilst increasing businesses profitability and sustainability. We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team in Germany. As our first Logistics Solutions Engineer in Germany, you’ll bridge the gap between our commercial and technical teams. You’ll deliver tailored demos, translate customer needs into actionable insights, and ensure prospects and customers see the full value of the Qargo platform.

This role combines customer-facing expertise with industry knowledge and technical problem-solving. You’ll collaborate closely with Business Development Managers, Product, and Engineering teams, shaping the way German transport companies experience Qargo. As the first Solutions Engineer in this market, you’ll help build our demo approach, local content and go-to-market playbook from the ground up.

• Deliver engaging technical demos and walkthroughs of the Qargo TMS platform, in German and English.
• Help establish the Solutions Engineering function in Germany: build localised demo environments, German-language materials and repeatable demo flows.
• Tailor demo environments and solution configurations to accurately reflect customer workflows and operational requirements.
• Analyse customer needs and provide recommendations on product fit, integration requirements, and system usage.
• Support Business Development Managers with technical scoping and feasibility assessments.
• Translate customer requirements and sales conversations into structured technical feedback for Product and Engineering teams
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of Qargo’s features, roadmap, integrations, and API capabilities.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and detailed platform walkthrough documentation.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and incorporated into product development.
• Provide input on improving demo tooling, training materials, and customer onboarding processes.
• Apply transport/logistics domain knowledge to guide customers on best practices.
• Stay informed about sector trends, regulatory requirements, and technology changes that affect customer needs, including the German and wider European transport market.

• Based in Germany, fluent in both German and English
• Multiple years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role (e.g. support, onboarding, consulting, pre-sales, or similar)
• Experience in the transport or logistics sector is essential. Strong understanding of industry processes, workflows, and operational challenges.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with both technical and commercial audiences.
• A hands-on, analytical approach to problem-solving
• Experience with a Transport Management System (TMS) would be a plus
• Willing to travel for on-site demos and customer meetings in Germany
• Comfortable working independently and building something new as the first in the market
