Sales Director (SaaS)

At Sana Commerce, we’re looking for a Sales Director to own new business revenue globally, from pipeline generation to close. As we scale, this role is key to turning our direct sales motion into a predictable growth engine.

Strategy and revenue ownership

• Defining and executing the global sales strategy, go-to-market plan and annual revenue targets.
• Owning the new business number, sales forecast and pipeline health, and reporting on them to the executive team and board.
• Identifying priority markets, segments and verticals across SMB, Mid-Market and Enterprise, and focusing effort and resources where growth is greatest.

Sales execution

• Personally driving strategic and enterprise deals from first conversation to close, including executive sponsorship and negotiation.
• Bringing in a consistent sales methodology (such as MEDDICC), regular deal reviews and disciplined forecasting.
• Driving CRM hygiene, sales process and tooling in partnership with Revenue Operations.

Team building and leadership

• Laying the foundations for a high-performance, accountable sales culture as the direct sales team grows.
• Hiring, onboarding, coaching and developing account executives, and planning the team’s future growth.
• Setting clear goals, territories, quotas and compensation plans in partnership with Finance and HR.

Cross-functional collaboration

• Aligning with Marketing on pipeline targets, ICP and campaigns.
• Working with Pre-Sales on discovery, demos and technical validation for live deals.
• Partnering with Partner Management on partner-sourced and co-sold opportunities.
• Working with Customer Success to ensure smooth handovers, expansion and retention.
• Feeding market and customer insights back to Product to help shape the roadmap.

• 10–15 years of sales experience in B2B SaaS, with a consistent record of meeting or beating targets and selling complex solutions to mid-market and enterprise buyers.
• Experience leading sales teams, and the ambition to build and lead a global direct sales function.
• Proven success in a global or multi-region role, working across different cultures and markets.
• Experience selling into either the BENEFR, UK, US or DACH market.
• Strong command of a structured sales methodology, forecasting and pipeline management, with a data-driven approach to decisions.
• Excellent communication and executive presence, comfortable presenting to the C-suite and the board. You also need fluent English and to be based in Dubai or willing to relocate there.
