Quality assurance QA engineer (manual)

This is a contract, hybrid role for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (Jr/Jr+) based in Yerevan, Armenia, with some work-from-home flexibility. The QA Engineer will execute manual tests, review and run test cases, and verify that software features function according to requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with developers and product teams, documenting defects, retesting fixes, and contributing to the improvement of testing processes. The role also involves maintaining clear test documentation, participating in team meetings, and supporting the delivery of high-quality software releases on schedule.

• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with an understanding of QA principles and lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Manual Testing and Test Execution for web or mobile applications.
• Ability to design, document, and maintain Test Cases aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to identify, document, and track defects clearly.
• Basic familiarity with issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and collaboration platforms.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Yerevan, Armenia, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage time independently.
• Relevant education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
