CATT tester (auto) for Calypso back office

The team supports an international bank by creating, executing, and maintaining automated CATT test cases for Back Office modules in an existing Calypso production instance.

• Create, maintain, and execute automated CATT test cases for Calypso Back Office modules, including settlements, confirmations, accounting, and SWIFT messaging
• Execute regression test suites during Calypso upgrades, patches, and change deployments
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and report defects with clear reproduction steps
• Work with Calypso BO Analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into test scenarios
• Maintain and organize the CATT test library, keeping test cases up to date and aligned with the current BO configuration
• Participate in SIT and UAT cycles
• Document test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect summaries
• Support test data preparation, including trade creation, reference data setup, and SDI configuration in test environments
• Review CATT test results using available tools and reporting mechanisms
• Escalate complex test failures to senior team members and track their resolution

• Basic understanding of capital markets products, including bonds, FX, and interest rate swaps, and trade lifecycle concepts
• Basic understanding of Back Office processes, including settlements, confirmations, accounting entries, and SWIFT messaging
• Familiarity with software testing concepts, including test cases, test plans, regression testing, and the defect lifecycle
• Ability to write and read basic SQL queries for test data verification
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured test procedures
• Good written and spoken English
• Willingness to learn the Calypso platform and CATT tool on the job
• University degree in Finance, IT, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Prior exposure to the Calypso platform, including academic or training exposure
• Будет плюсом: experience with CATT or another automated testing tool such as Selenium or UFT, basic knowledge of SWIFT message types (MT103, MT202, MT300, MT540-MT548), understanding of Calypso BO workflow concepts (task stations, trade statuses, lifecycle events), experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or HP ALM, basic Python or Shell scripting for test data preparation, knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology, ISTQB Foundation Level certification or willingness to obtain it
