qa engineer (manual) in Web3

• Lead manual testing of complex Web3 and platform features across multiple environments;
• Validate blockchain interactions, wallet flows, decentralized identity, and authentication;
• Test smart contract interactions, event handling, and on-chain/off-chain data synchronization;
• Drive exploratory, functional, and regression testing using structured documentation and product knowledge;
• Identify, log, and track reproducible issues using Jira or similar tools;
• Analyze blockchain node responses, RPC interactions, and event-driven workflows;
• Validate transaction signing, wallet authentication, and multi-chain compatibility;
• Collaborate with engineers on smart contract upgrades, migrations, and versioning;
• Monitor production logs, blockchain explorers, and analytics dashboards to detect anomalies;
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and QA documentation;
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure reliable CI/CD test coverage for Web3 components;
• Evaluate and integrate AI-powered testing tools;
• Set up and manage test environments, staging pipelines, and job configurations;
• Conduct load, stress, and performance testing around high-volume Web3 interactions;
• Act as a quality advocate across sprint planning, reviews, and release cycles;
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote proactive quality ownership;
• Contribute to testing best practices for decentralized systems and hybrid architectures.

• Minimum 7 years of total QA experience, including ownership of end-to-end quality;
• At least 2 years of hands-on Web3 testing experience covering blockchain integrations, wallet flows, or decentralized systems;
• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and the defect life cycle;
• Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals, including transactions, gas, confirmations, and RPC endpoints;
• Experience validating APIs using Postman or similar tools;
• Proficiency with bug tracking systems and version control;
• Comfortable using browser developer tools and basic terminal or command-line workflows;
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills;
• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools;
• Nice to have: experience with wallet testing, understanding of smart contracts and Solidity basics, blockchain debugging tools, automated testing frameworks, backend technologies and APIs, PHP or related languages, Linux environments, Bash scripting, AI platforms used in QA contexts.
