qa engineer (manual) in financial services

The company develops digital products in the financial services industry.

• Develop testing plans to verify product functionality before release;
• Test product functionality against requirements to ensure successful implementation;
• Document, troubleshoot, and manage issues, bugs, and changes;
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce issues identified during testing;
• Perform quality assurance and manual, end-to-end, and regression testing across multiple environments and platforms, including production;
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and regression tests; work with developers to ensure reported software bugs and defects are resolved;
• Set up testing capabilities, including UAT;
• Collaborate with Product Owners to design measurable acceptance criteria and establish clear definitions of done.

• Higher degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or a similar field;
• At least one year of software testing experience, including unit, integration, functionality, test automation, and mobile testing;
• Working experience with Postman, Cucumber Framework, Appium, and Selenium-based tools;
• Experience with at least one of these databases: Oracle Database or MS SQL Server;
• Knowledge of Java and JavaScript;
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, test estimation, planning, and reporting;
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Highly organized, with attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving aptitude;
• Self-directed, able to prioritize multiple QA tasks; flexible, adaptable, and a fast learner;
• Nice to have: Previous FinTech experience, Agile methodology, willingness to share knowledge and experience with junior colleagues, previous experience with the XRAY test tool.
