Buymie is an online marketplace that connects customers with personal shoppers in their area, who shop for and deliver items from local stores. It uses data-driven knowledge to improve the online shopping experience and adapt its operations and technology to a changing environment.

• Create, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases based on product requirements, specifications, and release plans;
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing;
• Monitor and report testing progress against project milestones, identify risks, and propose mitigation plans;
• Support the planning, creation, and execution of User Acceptance Testing;
• Investigate QA failures and contribute to root cause analysis;
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and external partners involved in testing and project delivery;
• Work across Waterfall and Agile/Scrum environments throughout the software development lifecycle;
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure well-defined user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria;
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including test strategies, test plans, test cases, execution reports, and quality status reports;
• Facilitate internal and external quality review meetings and communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders;
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;
• 5+ Years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance;
• Strong knowledge of QA principles, testing methodologies, techniques, and tools;
• Strong experience testing web applications, backend systems, and mobile applications;
• Experience working on multiple projects and systems simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience in an operational testing role with a strong understanding of real-world production environments;
• Strong expertise in test case design and test scenario development;
• Experience working with high-volume and business-critical applications;
• Strong analytical and testing mindset, including the ability to identify positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios;
• Strong experience creating and maintaining QA documentation, including test strategies, test plans, test cases, and execution reports;
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, defect resolution, and release planning;
• Experience working with complex datasets and preparing reliable data for automated and manual testing;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken;
• Nice to have: Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, logistics, or delivery platforms, test automation using Selenium and Java, Git and version control workflows, knowledge of MS SQL and the ability to write and understand SQL queries.
