QA Engineer (manual)

• Drive quality assurance for business features from technical hand-off through successful production release;
• Review specifications, prepare test plans, and create comprehensive test cases and checklists before stabilization;
• Provide realistic testing estimates and meet committed deadlines;
• Conduct functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and E2E API testing on real devices and emulators;
• Develop, maintain, and scale UI and API test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines;
• Automate core user workflows and manage test data setup and teardown;
• Maintain test documentation and conduct peer code reviews;
• Collaborate with Product, Mobile, Back-End engineers, and Architects throughout the development cycle;
• Support App Store and Google Play releases by validating builds and deeplinks, performing pre-release testing, and monitoring live performance and crashes;
• Track and improve QA metrics, including test coverage, defect density, and automation framework health.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and software testing processes;
• Solid understanding of the iOS and Android mobile app lifecycle, platform guidelines, and testing on real devices and emulators;
• Experience with debugging proxy tools, including Proxyman, Charles, or Fiddler;
• Experience with native log analysis using ADB logcat or Xcode Console;
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman, REST, or GraphQL;
• Experience with test data management;
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking, test management tools such as Jira and Allure TestOps, and Git;
• Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Maestro or Appium;
• Basic scripting skills in JavaScript or Python;
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise;
• Experience with crash reporting tools such as Sentry;
• Basic knowledge of App Store and Google Play submission workflows.
