Scopely is a mobile-first video game company that creates immersive gaming experiences for players around the world.

• Ensure pod contributions to each release meet high quality standards, focusing on defect prevention and user experience;
• Develop clear and comprehensive test plans with scope, estimates, resourcing, and tooling needs;
• Create, maintain, and execute test suites and test cases tailored to the pod;
• Maintain a prioritized bug database and lead onboarding of external QA resources;
• Perform hands-on testing, raise pre-production quality concerns, and champion a ‘shift left’ approach;
• Facilitate pod-specific playtests and collaborate with Customer Support and Live & Release teams to investigate live issues;
• Monitor app health metrics such as ANRs and crash rates and act to mitigate issues;
• Participate in team ceremonies and contribute to QA governance and best practices.

• Strong verbal and written communication with excellent attention to detail;
• Time management, accountability, and organizational skills;
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness;
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with the ability to multitask in an agile setup;
• Exceptional reporting capabilities;
• Extensive knowledge of JIRA and/or similar bug tracking systems;
• Mobile testing experience and understanding of Apple/Google submission protocols;
• Sound understanding of the gaming industry and end-to-end development lifecycle.
