QA engineer (auto) in healthcare SaaS

Join a team developing and modernizing an existing PHP-based platform. The project includes migration to Laravel and further development of the architecture and product quality. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for software quality within a product team. You will focus on test automation, testing strategy, integrating tests into the CI/CD process, and assessing risk before releases. You will work closely with backend (PHP/Laravel), frontend (React), SRE, and Product teams, with a real impact on quality standards and platform reliability.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests using Cypress and/or Selenium.
• Testing applications at the UI, API, integration, and regression levels.
• Integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Preparing testing strategies and planning tests based on risk analysis.
• Assessing release readiness and identifying potential quality risks.
• Analyzing defects, monitoring quality metrics, and reporting test results.
• Collaborating with developers, SRE, and the product team to ensure a high-quality solution.
• Performing manual tests when needed.
• Supporting junior QA engineers and developing standards and good practices for test automation.
• Working with Jira and Xray tools in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Experience in QA Automation and test automation.
• Practical knowledge of Cypress and/or Selenium.
• Experience in UI, API, integration, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or PHP.
• Understanding of REST API architecture, the API-first approach, and service-based architecture.
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of Jira and Xray and experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to create testing strategies and conduct risk-based testing.
• Experience analyzing defects and quality metrics and assessing release readiness.
• Very good analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• English language proficiency at C1 level.

• B2B: PLN 70–100 net + VAT/hour.
• Planned project start: November 2, 2026.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with four Scrum teams on the client side.
• Joining a team currently consisting of 9 developers and 1 QA Automation Engineer from Spyrosoft.
• Support from a Project Manager on the Spyrosoft side; day-to-day work organization on the client side.
• Possibility of working hours adjusted to the United Kingdom time zone.
• Equipment provided by the client.
• No business travel.
• Employment through Spyrosoft — no direct contract with the client.
