QA engineer (auto) in browser-based business games

We're seeking a QA Automation engineer for our browser-based business game. Could this be you? We have a backlog of at least two years to get through. • analyzing requirements, designing and documenting Test Cases, Checklists, and other QA assets.
• working closely with both teams under Lean Agile methodology to ensure product quality and efficient delivery.
• developing automated test cases based on manual ones, maintaining and improving the automation framework, and ensuring it aligns with modern technologies and best practices.
• executing regression test suites, analyzing failed test results, identifying root causes, and assisting with test runs during release cycles.
• investigating and addressing test and deployment-related infrastructure issues, ensuring smooth execution and stability of the test environments.
• supporting the QA process across the team, identifying areas for optimization, and contributing to higher reliability and performance of automated pipelines.
• participating in team meetings, including planning, kickoffs, and demos, to stay aligned with project goals and upcoming features.

• Strong proficiency in Web UI test automation, including the designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of locators, automation patterns, configuration management, reporting, and integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins/GitLab CI or other Continuous Integration systems.
• Solid experience with Git (branching strategies, conflict resolution).
• Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or another language used for test automation. We value strong engineering fundamentals and are open to different backgrounds, with an expectation to work with JavaScript/TypeScript in our environment.
• Understanding of QA processes, including test analysis, test design, requirement analysis, and writing high-quality automated tests.
• Experience with REST API testing and validation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
• Strong communication skills in both Russian and English.
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
• A strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability.
• Proactive attitude with strong initiative and self-management skills.
• Effective collaboration within cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
