qa engineer (auto) for payment orchestration

OMNO operates a payment orchestration platform that aggregates multiple Payment Service Providers into a unified solution for online merchants. The platform helps merchants manage payment flows, optimize transaction routing and performance, and simplify complex payment ecosystems.

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for OMNO’s payment orchestration platform;
• Create and execute test cases, and perform manual and automated testing;
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements;
• Identify, document, and track defects;
• Participate in code reviews from a quality perspective;
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines;
• Improve QA processes, standards, and tooling across the team.

• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing principles, including test design and defect management;
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining test cases and test suites for complex web or backend systems;
• Practical skills in manual testing of APIs, user interfaces, and integrations, with attention to detail and reproducibility;
• Proficiency in QA automation, including scripting automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with common test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and REST API testing tools;
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and issue tracking tools such as Jira;
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies;
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and document findings effectively;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
• Nice to have: Experience in fintech, payments, or high-availability transactional systems.
