QA Engineer (auto)

DCG is a recruitment company that provides clients with experienced specialists and ongoing support, and delivers recruitment projects for its partners.

• Design, create, and maintain automated backend API tests using Java;
• Create and maintain automated frontend end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript;
• Perform functional and regression testing of newly developed and modernized application features;
• Identify, reproduce, analyze, and thoroughly document software bugs;
• Verify edge cases and challenge assumptions to ensure comprehensive test coverage;
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, Product Owners, and other project stakeholders;
• Continuously improve QA processes and test automation practices;
• Maintain test documentation and manage testing activities using JIRA and qTest;
• Work with version control systems and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Jenkins.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in software testing / QA, including hands-on test automation experience;
• Very good knowledge of Java, particularly for API testing;
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for frontend end-to-end testing;
• Good knowledge of frontend testing principles and the test pyramid;
• Experience with JIRA and qTest or similar test management tools;
• Knowledge of Git or another version control system;
• Knowledge of Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools;
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving;
• Ability to identify edge cases and potential quality risks;
• Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset;
• Ability to clearly reproduce, analyze, and document bugs;
• Proactive approach and accountability for assigned tasks;
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders;
• Fluent written and spoken English.
