QA Engineer (auto)

Fireblocks provides institutional digital asset security and settlement infrastructure. Its platform and network help banks, fintechs, exchanges, financial institutions, brands, and Web3 companies securely work with digital assets and navigate the blockchain economy. The Financial Apps unit builds infrastructure for staking, yield, on-ramps, exchange integrations, and Web3 connectivity.

• Own product quality end-to-end by analyzing specifications, identifying logical gaps, and suggesting improvements;
• Design and execute thorough manual test plans across complex financial and Web3 flows;
• Use AI agents such as Claude Code to accelerate workflows, expand coverage, and ship faster;
• Investigate logs and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Sentry to identify root causes;
• Debug backend issues and determine why failures occur;
• Build and maintain automation across backend APIs and frontend interfaces;
• Improve the systems under test with a product mindset;
• Perform exploratory testing and hunt for edge cases;
• Conduct both manual and automated testing as core parts of the role.

• 3+ Years of experience in Manual QA;
• Hands-on automation experience across the full stack;
• TypeScript experience preferred;
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals and transaction lifecycle;
• Understanding of DeFi logic, including staking and bridging;
• Daily experience using AI tools to work faster and resolve complex errors;
• Ability to learn new domains quickly in the cryptocurrency industry;
• Data-driven debugging approach with logs as a primary troubleshooting tool;
• Strong interest in exploratory testing and edge-case detection.
