Social Discovery Group is a group of social discovery companies that addresses loneliness, isolation, and disconnection by developing virtual intimacy and social entertainment platforms connecting people online across cultures and regions.

• Understand app features, workflows, business rules, and backend/API dependencies;
• Define and maintain test strategies, test cases, and checklists for features and workflows;
• Perform manual functional, integration, UI/UX, exploratory, and regression testing;
• Validate end-to-end workflows across mobile apps, backends, APIs, and third-party integrations;
• Test on multiple devices, platforms, and OS versions using real devices and simulators/emulators;
• Execute smoke and sanity tests for new builds and pre-release validation;
• Validate Play Store and App Store release builds, including metadata, links, and deeplinks;
• Support UAT with the product team and report defects with detailed logs and reproducible steps;
• Set up and maintain UI and API automation frameworks for regression and smoke testing;
• Automate core workflows including login, signup, payments, search, checkout, and notifications;
• Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines for nightly and pre-release runs;
• Create test data setup and teardown scripts for stable automation runs;
• Generate and share test reports with coverage, pass/fail results, and screenshots;
• Continuously improve automation scripts for speed, reliability, and maintainability;
• Track and report QA metrics including test coverage, defect density, and automation health.

• Strong knowledge of mobile app testing on iOS and Android using real devices, emulators, simulators, and cloud devices;
• Experience writing and executing test cases, scenarios, and checklists;
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman, REST/GraphQL tools, and automation frameworks;
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Flutter Driver, Detox, Selenium, or Maestro;
• Understanding of regression, smoke, exploratory, and performance testing;
• Ability to set up and maintain test environments and test data;
• Knowledge of Git and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, and Zephyr;
• Skill in analyzing logs, crash reports, and debugging issues;
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, Dart, or a similar language for automation;
• Fluent English and Russian;
• Nice to have: experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
