Tesla’s Applications Engineering team owns the customer digital experience and builds global digital platforms across tesla.com and other digital touchpoints, connecting customers with Tesla products and services worldwide.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to analyze requirements and specify test suites for proper test coverage;
• Initiate and own test execution using manual and automation techniques;
• Monitor test status and quality metrics to provide reliable information for Go/No-Go decisions;
• Follow up on planned and unplanned changes and adapt test coverage to mitigate risk;
• Monitor the defect lifecycle, coordinate required fixes, and perform retesting with the development team;
• Switch between manual, exploratory, and automated testing techniques to maximize efficiency;
• Maintain and expand regression test suites using the existing Python/Selenium framework;
• Conduct tests before product launches to ensure expected software quality and reliability.

• Strong knowledge of SQA and Software Testing Life Cycle practices, with ISTQB certification or equivalent experience;
• Solid experience with Web/Mobile UI testing;
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments and version control, preferably GIT;
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence for requirement and defect management;
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, YAML, and API testing;
• Experience with Python and Selenium in test framework contexts;
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL;
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams and maintain some flexibility in working hours due to different time zones;
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills;
• Mastery of the English language.
