• Overall subject-matter responsibility for the application—from product vision and further development to stable operations
• Developing the product strategy and roadmap and prioritizing together with service owners and users
• Managing requirements: eliciting, evaluating and structuring requirements, and ensuring traceability
• Working with the Product Owner to ensure product objectives are properly incorporated into the backlog and sprints
• Subject-matter management of the external development service provider (quality, deadlines, contractual compliance)
• Serving as the central point of contact for service owners, BAAINBw, the troops, development and operations
• Ensuring smooth release transitions into operations and feeding operational experience back into further development
• Reporting to management and clients on product status, risks and decisions required

• A completed degree, for example in business informatics, computer science, engineering or a comparable field—or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
• At least 7 years of professional experience in IT, including at least 3 years in product management, requirements management or a comparable area of responsibility
• Extensive experience in requirements management, application development and operations
• Experience with agile ways of working (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) and collaboration with external service providers
• Independent, structured approach to work, with well-founded decision-making and the ability to persuade a range of stakeholders
• Willingness to travel for work (approx. 30%)

• The starting salary is generally between €71,000 and €91,650 gross per year. The specific amount is determined based on criteria such as qualifications, scope of responsibility and the requirements of the position. Justified deviations may be possible in individual cases.
