• Lead complex R&D projects from concept and planning through technical implementation to industrial application;
• Manage projects focused on scientific and engineering software tool development;
• Coordinate methodology development in aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, and materials science;
• Plan and oversee schedules, budgets, resources, quality, risks, and deliverables;
• Lead interdisciplinary international project teams and establish long-term research partnerships;
• Identify public funding opportunities and support proposal preparation, project execution, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a scientific discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science;
• Several years of experience in research and development and managing technically demanding projects, preferably in the energy, turbomachinery, or gas turbine industry;
• Understanding of aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, materials science, or scientific software development;
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, including risk, resource, schedule, and budget management;
• Strategic and analytical thinking, leadership capability, and effective communication of complex technical topics to international and interdisciplinary teams;
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
